Seat of Arunachala Ramana

When the skull was sealed I experienced a brilliant light, like that of an arc lamp, and an indescribable joy and coolness filled my being. This light and joy continued for several hours. During this time I didn't move about and I was unconscious of what was going on around me. You may have seen a light focused on to a concave mirror. Its light is reflected with a single beam onto a point. Well, sometime about midnight all the light, like a concave mirror, was focussed onto the Heart. Then all the light drained into the Heart. The Kundalini was completely sucked into the Heart and the Heart was opened - that is the seat of Arunachala Ramana.

ARUNACHALA SAINTS

'All stones in that place [Arunachala] are lingams. It is indeed the Abode of Lord Siva. All trees are the wish-granting trees of Indra's heaven. Its rippling
waters are the Ganges, flowing through our Lord's matted locks. The food eaten there is the ambrosia of the Gods. When men move about in that place it is the earth performing pradakshina around it. Words spoken there are holy scripture, and to fall asleep there is to be absorbed in samadhi, beyond the mind's delusion. Could there be any other place which is its equal?'

மௌனமே உருவாய் அவதரித்து, தேடியலைந்தவர்களது மனக் கிலேசத்தைப் போக்கி, பேசாமற் பேசி அவரவர்களின் சந்தேகங்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்து மனதுக்கு அளவற்ற சாந்தியை அளித்து, ஆத்மானந்த அமுதத்தை ஊட்டி, "உண்மை சொரூபத்தை அடைந்தவன் பிறப்பு இறப்பு இல்லாத, நித்திய ஆனந்தத்தை அடைகின்றான்" என்று உபதேசித்து, ஆயிரம் நாவுள்ள ஆதி சேஷனாலும் வர்ணிக்க முடியாத அற்புத ஞான கிரகணங்களால் உலகத்தைப் பிரகாச மயமாக்கி, பக்தகோடிகள் சூழ, அயோத்தி, பிருந்தாவனம் போன்ற அருணச்சல ஆஷ்ரமத்தில் சஹஜ நிஷ்டையில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கும் ஆனந்த மோன ரமணா!!! உங்களை நமஸ்கரிக்கின்றேன்.

"Jnana is given neither from outside nor from another person. It can be realised by each and everyone in his own Heart. The jnana Guru of everyone is only the Supreme Self that is always revealing its own truth in every Heart through the being-conciousness 'I am, I am.' The granting of trueknowledge by him is initiation into jnana. The grace of the Guru is only that Self-awareness that is one's own true nature. It is the inner conciousness by which he is unceasingly revealing his existence. This divine upadesa is alwaysgoing on naturally in everyone."-Sri Ramana Maharshi
